Race Fans!
Thank you
for staying with us in 2007, we really feel we had a great year between
Lori and Jr's wedding and the addition of electric.
Just when
Paul and I thought we had this down to a science, the track announces
they are going to night racing in 2008. As many of you have heard, the
Busch will take place Friday July 11 and NASCAR will run Saturday July
12. Times and specifics have not been announced at this point.
Going on
the assumption qualifying and time trials will run for both Busch and
NASCAR on Friday, so will our busses.
For the
actual races, we will be running Providence High School Busses for most
of the duration, so please leave the sharpies at home. You are still
welcome to graffiti our own busses (if you can find space). I am
surprised no one has thought to start graffiti on the INSIDE of the
cattle shed by the band. HHMmmmm, idea? Bring your spray paint, but
keep it clean. Nothing that would make our kids blush.
Reservation
forms will be sent out by November 1. There will be a survey regarding
the best time to hold live entertainment. We value your opinion so
please let us know what you think.
Our refund
policy in 2008 is as follows. We will give a refund to cancellations up
to four weeks prior to the event before the race. Beyond that date,
refunds cannot be guaranteed. If we sell the site in that four week
period before the race, you will receive a refund less a $20 fee.
Sites
reserved should be paid for within 30 days of billing. Please pay for
your site in a timely manor to ensure your reservation.
Maui
Shower, the Rib Guy, and NASCAR vendor should all be back. We are
looking forward to a GREAT year in 2008.
